Marlboro Cricket Club First XI playing in SA5 had a great start to their campaign with two straight victories in convincing fashion.
In the first match vs Scaw Metals away, MCC bundled out Scaw for 48, winning by 8 wickets. Nasier finishing with figures of 5/9 including a hat trick.
Against Sandton this passed weekend, MCC batting first scored 259/7. Naeem Nathie with an unbeaten 73*
Sandton were then bowled out for 128. Nasier taking 4 wickets, Naeem Nathie and Labeeb 2 a piece.
This coming weekend its Scaw Metals again....
