After a no result wash out against Scaw Metals at Wendywood High School, MCC SA5 demolished Relode in their fixture at Florida High School.
Batting first MCC amassed 261/8 in their 40 overs with good all round performances by all.
Relode were then bundled out for around 140.
A good start to the season with all the players pulling their weight in the side. Its now 3 victories in 4 with one rain out. Keep up the momentum boys.

MCC SA5 on top in first two encounters
Marlboro Cricket Club First XI playing in SA5 had a great start to their campaign with two straight victories in convincing fashion.
In the first match vs Scaw Metals away, MCC bundled out Scaw for 48, winning by 8 wickets. Nasier finishing with figures of 5/9 including a hat trick.
Against Sandton this passed weekend, MCC batting first scored 259/7. Naeem Nathie with an unbeaten 73*
Sandton were then bowled out for 128. Nasier taking 4 wickets, Naeem Nathie and Labeeb 2 a piece.
This coming weekend its Scaw Metals again....

The New Season is upon us
The 2013/2014 Cricket Season commenced on 6 October 2013. MCC has two teams affiliated this season, in SA5 and SA6. Heres wishing all a fantastic season ahead.
